What is Airbrush Tanning and how does it work?
Airbrush
tanning is a revolutionary way to apply a streak free sunless
tanner that gives you a natural tropical tan that fades
away like a real tan without flaking. It is a safe,
UV-Free way to get a golden tan.
Using
an airbrush gun powered by a compressor, a fine mist of air
and tanning solution is sprayed onto the skin which allows
you to achieve a perfect, even, streak free natural looking
golden tan.
The
active ingredient DHA, dihydroxyacetone, is FDA approved and
reacts with the proteins in the top layers of the skin to
produce a natural, safe tan.
Why
Airbrush Tanning?
Using
an airbrush to apply the tanning solution will give you an even
tan all over in a fraction of the time it would take to
apply tanning cream by hand.
Because
the application through the airbrush is so light, the tan is
streak free and natural; no more orange mess or dark patch
areas on knees or elbows. It also dries much faster than
the traditional cream application.
How
long does the tanning session take?
It
takes approximately 15 minutes to airbrush the entire body and 5
minutes for the solution to dry.
Any
precautions prior or post tanning application?
Before
your tanning session you will need to shower and exfoliate your
skin. Do not use any oils, makeup or lotions because the skin
needs to be clean and dry.
After
the tanning session, avoid water, shower or excessive exercise
for at least 8 hours to allow the solution to develop and
reach its optimum color. To maintain and prolong your tan,
you will need to moisturize as often as
possible. Mixing a cream self tanner with a
moisturizer will help the tan to fade away evenly.
The
Airbrush Tan will last 5 to 10 days depending on the natural oil
of your skin.
