How did you decide where to go for your honeymoon?
We were trying to find a place that was relaxing but had fun stuff to do & St. Lucia was one.  Our travel agent Robin recommended it.  "They're great."  (Fortune Travel)  St Lucia is a really beautiful island.
What did you think of Sandals?
The best place ever.  They had everything you could possibly need or want.  The lady at Fortune Travel really filled us in on what to expect.  Also, there are 3 different Sandals on St. Lucia so you can go to any of the bars or restaurants at any of the Sandals on the island.

Was it really all-inclusive?

It really included everything, even all your gratuities.  The only thing not included were some of the day tours offered by outside companies at the tour desk.

What were a few of the
favorite things you did?

The day trips we took were probably our favorite.  We took a jungle tour in the rainforest in open-roofed Land Rovers and went hiking and to a waterfall.  Another trip we took was a day cruise to the town of Soufriere where there are two mountains called Les. Pitons and a drive thru volcano.  It was an all day trip on a catamaran and they stopped for lunch at a local restaurant.

What was the most romantic place?
The most romantic thing was our room with the ocean view. We would just sit together looking out at the ocean, relaxing and talking. The view was so beautiful.

What were your favorite restaurants?
Sandals had a lot of themed restaurants that were really nice.  We had to dress formally almost every night for the restaurants.  La Toc, a French Restaurant, was my favorite.

Did you try any unusual or exotic food or drinks?
They had flying fish - we tried that on the day cruise when we stopped at a local restaurant.  You can also get Banana Ketchup all over the place.  It's pretty good.

Were there any good clubs or places for nightlife?
Did they have music?
The nightlife is really just bars.  There really aren't any clubs.  The bars just play a lot of reggae and other music.

What was your room like?
Our room looked out right onto the water.  The service was great.  Everyone at Sandals was very friendly and catered to your every need.  We're planning to go back in about a year.

Is there anything else you want to add about your honeymoon?
Since everything really was included at Sandals the only thing we would have wanted to know before we went was how much the day tours cost.  They had lots of info on the Sandals website about different day tours but no prices.  I would say to plan on $60-$90 per person for each day trip you want to take.
