Set up a free email account for your
wedding such as mywedding@freemail.com.
Use this to register at online wedding sites and bridal shows. It will
keep all your wedding information organized. Then, after the wedding,
you can remove this email account.

Before attending bridal shows, make up
labels with your name, address, wedding date and wedding email. You’ll
be asked to fill out a registration form at most booths and this will
save you a lot of time.
Some reception sites offer substantial
discounts for off-season weddings or discounts that are available on the
day they hold a bridal show.
| If you’re planning a beach ceremony,
scope out the parking, accessibility for the handicapped and restroom
availability beforehand. Also check to see if permits or beach badges
will be required.
For outdoor ceremonies, in the event of
rain,
you should always have a backup location.
| If you are planning a summer wedding,
consider airbrush tanning for yourself and your bridesmaids. Bathing
suit strap lines will not look good in your photos.
| To save money on your flowers, avoid
choosing a wedding date that falls on a big holiday weekend such as
Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day or Easter and choose flowers that are
in-season.

Bring material swatches and pictures of
your wedding gown and bridal party attire, when you meet with your
florist. This will help the designer plan bouquets that compliment the
style of your gown and chosen colors.
| Limos and shuttles are common for the
bridal party members for your wedding day, but consider the same for
your bachelor/bachelorette parties and rehearsal dinner. Another option
is to pre-plan the designated drivers if alcohol is a part of your
celebration!

Break in the shoes
you’ll be wearing the day of the wedding and have a backup
pair of comfortable sandals or flats for later in the reception
– just in case! |
