Gil Thompson, The Gil Thompson Trio and Gil Thompson’s Tropic Jazz Players, offer the perfect mix of jazz-inspired entertainment for your wedding or special event.  From jazz classics and love songs to Latin dance music, we offer a wide variety of tunes to please audiences of mixed ages and musical tastes.

We are available for ceremony and/or reception entertainment and can function as Master of Ceremonies for your event.  When performing alone, Gil is equally comfortable on solo piano or piano with electronic accompaniment (bass and drums). This performing format is very well suited for venues where space is at a premium.  

Gil is a seasoned full-time performer with over 30 years of experience and has appeared in numerous venues in the tri-state area, including Cape May's prestigious Pelican Club and the Republican National Convention Dinner Cruise.
