"My bridesmaids all had the same color dress and the same style skirt but I let my bridesmaid's choose their own top because one style doesn't always look good on everyone.

Flowers:
I chose gerbera daisies because that's the flower Jason always sent me when we were dating.  I ordered our flowers online.  They were delivered the day before and we put the bouquets together the next morning.  I was nervous, though.  I didn't know what to expect.  I made sure it was a place where I could pick the delivery date.  With a lot of online places you can't pick your delivery date.  There's a 2 day window for delivery.

Formalwear:
My husband flat out refused to wear a tuxedo on the beach, so I let him decide what the men were going to wear.  Because it was on the beach he had his guys wear tan pants and white shirts with a navy blazer. Jason gave them ties as part of their gifts. I loved the look because it was different and really fit our wedding.

We Saved Money By:
Because we were paying for the wedding ourselves, we saved money a lot of ways.  A great thing about our wedding was that we used a lot of people we knew like a guy who played sax on the beach for our ceremony.  I also made our centerpieces.  I found them at a Pier One.  They were hurricane glasses with candles filled with sand and shells.  I made them all one night with my mom and a friend.

We Used the Internet:
"We used the internet a lot, including this site, to get ideas, find about bridal shows, camera shots, etc.  And this site did help me choose a reception site because by going to bridal shows and different reception halls I got ideas on what I wanted.  I really enjoyed the hunt and finding the perfect thing.

Best Part
It was a very fun wedding.  Everybody was up dancing and people said they left our wedding feeling happy.

Tip for Brides to Be:
Have fun with it!  I had a blast planning our wedding, and people really appeared to have a great time.  We really tried to keep our friends and family in mind when we were planning things.  Although Jason and I
decided on certain aspects of the attire for the wedding party, they did have some flexibility as to what they could wear so they would be comfortable. Many of our guests could not stay over, so our reception was from 4-9pm so people wouldn't be driving home late at night.  A few of our friends with young children really appreciated that.  There was very
little time and distance between the ceremony and reception sites so our guests wouldn't have to drive far or find something to do in between.  Although it is your day, your guests will appreciate your consideration and thoughtfulness.
