"All the gowns came from Tesi Bridal. She was really nice and
helped me with some special items. She found shawls to match my bridesmaid gowns
perfectly and she custom designed my dress - the train, the sleeves & the
veil.

Ceremony
Music - Special Highlights
One thing that
made our ceremony special was that my brother Charles
Bass orchestrated and arranged all the music. If I said I
wanted chimes, he put in chimes. My entire
family also sang during the ceremony and Anthony and I
wrote our own song for the ceremony "Only the Heart
Knows," which we sang as a duet to each other.

How We Met
We were introduced by a
mutual friend of ours 19 years ago at the CME church conference. We were friends for a
long time before we started dating four years ago.
We
Used the Internet to:
We used the
internet, including this site, to find vendors and get bridal show
information. We also found our bridal party gifts & favors on the internet -
monogrammed light pens & keychain flashlights. We also used the
internet to post directions to the wedding for our guests and for our bridal
registry.

Cake:
Ina Cowherd
"A friend of the family made a Westminster Cake with different flavored
layers. One layer was carrot cake, the next vanilla, etc. She also made an
additional small cake just for us. "
Favors:
Monogrammed keychain flashlights and Pom Pom Shakers
in Gold & Black. At the end of the ceremony the
guests shook the pom poms (instead of throwing rice) as we exited the
church. We found the pom pom shakers on
the internet on a cheerleading website.

We
Saved Money By:
I did the program
for our wedding myself with supplies from Staples. It was also really nice
that the decorations at Buena Vista Country Club were done by my colleagues from Roland Rogers Elementary
School.
