Cake
We had a tall white chocolate raspberry cake. We had a cake topper made from clay to resemble us. They even put a little Flyer's hat on the groom for a touch of whimsy. The company is called MyLittleStatue.com It was a big hit. Guests took home their cake in boxes because we had a complete dessert hour.

We Saved Money By:
We definitely saved money by shopping around online. We wanted everyone to have fun but get home safe so instead of Limos we got shuttles for all our guests to get to the hotel and reception and back safely. It made us feel more relaxed.

Favors:
At the ceremony we had personalized yarmulkes for the men and elegant fans for the women. We also had swan shaped bubble holders. At the reception guests received a pewter bride & groom in the getaway car placecard holders.

Highlights:
Guests were greeted on a red carpet by a costumed trumpeter. We had 7 flower girls and 2 ring bearers. Very Cute! We had white doves lifted at the end of the ceremony. The cocktail hour had a lavish ice bar with a martini luge. We hired strolling Magician Kevin Bethea who was awesome with the kids and adults.

First Dance:  "Your Song " - Elton John

Mother/Son Dance:  "What a Wonderful World "
Honeymoon:
We went to Liberty Travel. We had a fabulous 2 week honeymoon in Hawaii. We went to The Big Island, Kaui & Maui. Everyone we met there was on their honeymoon.

Tips for Other Couples: I am so happy I started planning early. Take advantage of all the benefits of the internet. Pay close attention to all the small details. Make sure you try to include everyone. Yes, you can have 7 flower girls. Do what makes you happy!
