Ceremony:
Methodist Church of Absecon

Reception:
Union Park in The Hotel Macomber, Cape May

Photographer:
John Dimaio
"John did a great job.  He was so easy to work with, he got everything we wanted and we hardly knew he was there."

Flowers:
Lilies Floral Designs

Theme:
We had sort of a floral theme.  My mom  (owner of Lilies) did all the flowers.  I used a flower on my invitation and our tables were flower names instead of numbers.

Wedding & Bridesmaid's Gowns:
Tesi Bridal Boutique

Major Snafu:  Three weeks before the wedding we found out that
the reception site where we were planning to have our
wedding double booked. Meanwhile, all our invitations
had gone out.
Tesi, from Tesi Bridal Boutique, knew the people
who owned Union Park in Cape May and they had an
opening so we redid all the invitations and had it
there.  She even helped contact many of my wedding
vendors to tell them about the change in location.
Everyone was very accommodating.  Bakeworks in Linwood
didn't even charge extra to deliver to Cape May due to
the extenuating circumstances.

We're really glad it worked out this way because Union Park was more intimate, the food was excellent and the customer service was outstanding.  They bent over backwards to help put everything together.  Union Park has a nice wraparound porch for cocktail hour and you can stay right there.  Some of us stayed over and then had breakfast the next day in Cape May.  Plus, by having the reception in Cape May, we were able to get some nice photos on the beach.

Invitations, Programs & Table Cards: D-Zyne Services
I majored in graphics in college so I designed my own invitation using one of my photos of a flower.  Jennifer at D-Zyne printed the invitations for me.  I also ordered from my table cards and programs from D-Zyne Services.   (Click here to view invitation)

Favors:
We made a donation to the humane society.

How We Met:
My parents knew Dave's parents.  He used to carpool with my sister and then years later we met at his work and started dating.

"I had to make sure I got a picture with my dog Toby.  He's like our baby.  We even made arrangements for someone to pick up the dog and take him home after the photos at my mom's."

Best Part
It was a lot of fun getting ready for the wedding and having pictures taken on the beach.

Honeymoon:
Barcelo Playa Langosta Resort in Costa Rica.  We had a great time.  We went ziplining - it's a canopy tour thru the rainforest where you're suspended on ropes 50-300 feet above ground.  We also took an eco-tour on kayaks.

Tips for Brides To Be:
If something happens, let it go.  It will all work out.  If you stress out you're not going to enjoy your day.
