How We Met: One of my best friends introduced us.  We met originally in High School and Ryan drove some of the girls, including me, to go shop for dresses for one of the high school dances.  He wasn't going to be my date at the time but was just driving some of us to be nice. Then we met again after high school and started dating.

About Our Wedding:  We had wanted to do something different that would be modern and unique.  The Noyes Museum idea came up because one of my teachers was the Director of the Noyes Museum.  They had never held a wedding there before so we were extra excited to be the first.

Flowers:
Art of Flowers

DJ: Michael James
"He was set up in one of the side galleries."

We Saved Money By:
"We had a friend make our table numbers and seating chart in Photoshop and then had them printed at a local printer & we made our centerpieces"

Centerpieces: (Centerpiece Photo)
" Our centerpieces were potted plants that people could take home with them."

Catering: Romanelli's Catering
"Because the Noyes Museum isn't a typical reception venue, we went heavy on the appetizers and butlered hors d'oeuvres.  We also had a carving and pasta station and desserts.  We bought the alcohol and hired a bartender.  Romanelli's catered the event."

Rentals: AC Special Events
We had to rent everything from chairs to cutlery.

Sign in Board: We had our names spelled out in architectural details and our friends and family signed around it.   (Sign in Board Photo)

Bridal Party Gifts:
We bought gifts online from a site that has artist's work called Etsy.com.  For the bridesmaids, we got Paloma's Nest ceramic ring bowls with quotes on them and personalized them with the girls' initials.  I also got them a makeup clutch and earrings to go with their gowns.  We got the groomsmen leather wallets and coffee table books that went along with their hobbies or interests.

First Dance:
"She's Mine"
Brett Dennen

Mother/Groom Dance:
"Simple Kind of Man"
Lynyrd Skynyrd

Mother/Daughter/Sister Dance:
"Ain't No Moutain High Enough" Marvin Gaye & Tammy Terrell

Best Part: My aunt actually married us.  Seeing each other in the elevators for the first time that day was also really special.

Honeymoon:
We took a cruise that went to Cozumel & Grand Cayman.

Tip for Brides to Be:
Make losts of lists!  If your big day is getting close and there is a small detail that can be cut...cut it!  Your guests won't notice and a happy, calm bride is more important than an extra detail-oriented bride.
